| Obverse description | Crudely struck Arabic legend in three lines across the field reading 'Nasir al-dunya wa'l-din' (Helper of the World and the Faith), the honorific laqab of the sultan. The script is executed in a bold, informal Naskh hand typical of early Bahmani coinage, with letters occupying nearly the entire flan. The irregular planchet shows characteristic hammered die stress with slight weakness at the margins. |

| Reverse description | Arabic legend in multiple lines across the field reading 'Abu'l-fath Ismail Shah' (Father of Victory, Ismail Shah), giving the sultan's kunya and regal title. The lettering is boldly raised in informal Naskh script, filling the flan with minimal border treatment. Typical hammered fabric of the early Bahmani series is evident in the slightly off-center strike and uneven surface. |
