背面描述	Armored horseman advancing to the right, depicted in a highly schematic and stylized manner characteristic of Ghaznavid jitals struck at Lahore. The rider, representing the sovereign or a martial deity in the Indo-Sasanian tradition, is shown with raised arm and sits astride a galloping horse. Degenerate Arabic or pseudo-Arabic legend occupies the surrounding field and margins, consistent with the bilingual character of Ghaznavid coinage intended to circulate among a mixed Hindu and Muslim population. The engraving is bold but crude, typical of the hammered copper small change produced at the Lahore mint during this period.
