Beschrijving voorzijde Humped zebu bull standing to the right in the central field, rendered in a schematic Indo-Sasanian style inherited from earlier Shahiya coinage. The bull's dewlap and characteristic hump are visible despite the crude striking. Degenerate Nagari or pseudo-Brahmi legend surrounds the device in the periphery, largely illegible due to the informal hammered execution. The overall design follows the long-standing north Indian tradition of depicting the sacred bull as a dynastic and religious motif.

Beschrijving keerzijde Armored horseman advancing to the right, depicted in a highly schematic and stylized manner characteristic of Ghaznavid jitals struck at Lahore. The rider, representing the sovereign or a martial deity in the Indo-Sasanian tradition, is shown with raised arm and sits astride a galloping horse. Degenerate Arabic or pseudo-Arabic legend occupies the surrounding field and margins, consistent with the bilingual character of Ghaznavid coinage intended to circulate among a mixed Hindu and Muslim population. The engraving is bold but crude, typical of the hammered copper small change produced at the Lahore mint during this period.
