Obverse description Irregular hammered flan bearing a multi-line Arabic Kufic inscription filling the central field, partially legible due to surface wear and die shift. The legend references the ruler 'Ala al-Din Muhammad, Sultan of the Khwarazmian Empire, with fragmentary text distributed across the flat field. No decorative border or geometric framing is present, consistent with the crude artisanal striking characteristic of base-metal jitals produced at provincial Khwarazmian mints. The flan edges are uneven and show typical casting or cutting irregularities of the period.
