| Obverse description | Aphrodite, the patron deity of Eryx, depicted seated to the left upon a high-backed throne, her figure rendered in draped garments in the archaic Sicilian style. She extends her right hand forward, upon which rests a dove, her sacred bird and principal divine attribute. The composition fills the flan with a sense of quiet dignity characteristic of late fifth-century Sicilian bronze coinage. No legend or inscription appears in the field. |

| Reverse description | The river-god Krimisos, represented in his zoomorphic guise as a hunting hound, depicted in profile standing to the left with naturalistic rendering of the canine form. Two pellets, serving as the denomination mark for the hexas (one-sixth of a litra), are placed symmetrically, one above and one below the central figure, in accordance with standard Siceliote bronze coinage practice. The field is otherwise plain, with no legend or additional devices. The type reflects the local cult of Krimisos, a Sicilian river deity associated with the territory of Eryx. |
