| Descrizione del dritto |
Head of Athena facing left, wearing a Corinthian helmet pushed back on the head, rendered in archaic relief style with minimal detailing. The helmet's cheekpieces and brim are clearly delineated, covering the upper portion of the face. The portrait occupies the full field of this diminutive flan, with no legend or border present. The execution, though small in scale, reflects the confident hand-engraving characteristic of Sikeliot mint production in the early Classical period. |

| Descrizione del rovescio |
Plain field bearing two raised pellets arranged side by side in the upper portion of the flan, serving as the denominational mark signifying the hexas (one-sixth of a litra, equivalent to two onkiai). The pellets are boldly struck and slightly off-center, set against an otherwise unadorned, flat reverse surface with no legend or border. This minimalist reverse type is characteristic of the fractional silver coinage of Himera during the fifth century BC. |
