Popis líce	Head of Athena facing left, wearing a Corinthian helmet pushed back on the head, rendered in archaic relief style with minimal detailing. The helmet's cheekpieces and brim are clearly delineated, covering the upper portion of the face. The portrait occupies the full field of this diminutive flan, with no legend or border present. The execution, though small in scale, reflects the confident hand-engraving characteristic of Sikeliot mint production in the early Classical period.

The pellets are boldly struck and slightly off-center, set against an otherwise unadorned, flat reverse surface with no legend or border. This minimalist reverse type is characteristic of the fractional silver coinage of Himera during the fifth century BC.
