Obverse description Forepart of a bull rushing to the right, rendered in archaic Greek style with fine detail on the musculature and horns. The animal's head is lowered and turned slightly toward the viewer. Above the bull, the partial Greek legend ΔΙ (abbreviation for Dikaia) is inscribed in the upper field. The flan is irregular and the relief is bold, characteristic of early Macedonian coinage of the fifth century BC.
