Reverse description Quadripartite incuse square divided into four rectangular compartments arranged in a swastika-like pattern, with alternating raised and sunken sections. This distinctive windmill or pinwheel incuse design is the hallmark reverse type of Cherronesos coinage throughout the archaic and classical periods. The incuse is deeply struck and well-defined, filling the entire reverse field. No legend or inscription is present. The design is executed in the standard archaic hammered technique typical of Thracian Chersonese coinage.
