Obverse description Diademed and bearded bust of Pakor II facing left, rendered in the local Persis tradition with detailed hair rendered in striated locks falling behind the neck. The king wears a distinctive headdress with a diadem, its ties visible trailing behind. The portrait occupies the majority of the flan, with the broad shoulders and draped bust visible in the lower portion of the field. The engraving reflects the characteristically bold, if somewhat provincial, celator style of the Persis dynasts.
