| 裏面の説明 | Central Achaean League monogram (ΑΧ conjoined) flanked on either side by the pilei (caps) of the Dioskouroi, each surmounted by a star. A secondary monogram appears above the central device, identifying the mint city of Argos. In the lower field, a forepart of a wolf facing right serves as an additional civic symbol. The entire composition is encircled by an olive or laurel wreath, a hallmark of Achaean League federal coinage. |
