Obverse description Laureate head of Zeus facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curling hair and beard in the Hellenistic style. The portrait is robust and naturalistic, with strong facial features characteristic of late Classical and early Hellenistic coinage of the Achaean League. The field to the right is largely plain and unlettered. No inscription appears on the obverse.

Reverse description Central Achaean League monogram (ΑΧ conjoined) flanked on either side by the pilei (caps) of the Dioskouroi, each surmounted by a star. A secondary monogram appears above the central device, identifying the mint city of Argos. In the lower field, a forepart of a wolf facing right serves as an additional civic symbol. The entire composition is encircled by an olive or laurel wreath, a hallmark of Achaean League federal coinage.
