正面描述	Facing right, the youthful female head of the nymph Arethusa or a local deity, rendered in fine Euboian style with softly modeled features. The hair is elegantly waved and drawn back, secured at the nape, with several loose strands falling naturally across the neck. The portrait is executed with naturalistic detail characteristic of late Classical Greek coinage from Euboia, set within an irregularly shaped flan with a smooth, unencumbered field.

背面描述	An eagle, a civic emblem of Chalkis, stands facing left with wings folded against its body, rendered with detailed feathering across the breast and wing coverts. The bird grasps a serpent in its beak and talons, a composition widely employed on Chalkidian coinage of the late Classical period. To the right of the eagle, an olive branch with leaves is depicted in the field. The ethnic inscription XA appears in the lower right field, identifying the issuing city. The design is set on an irregular flan typical of hammered Greek silver coinage.
