The hair is elegantly waved and drawn back, secured at the nape, with several loose strands falling naturally across the neck. The portrait is executed with naturalistic detail characteristic of late Classical Greek coinage from Euboia, set within an irregularly shaped flan with a smooth, unencumbered field. |
