Descrizione del dritto	Bare head of a youthful male figure, identified tentatively as Peloros, facing right, rendered in fine Thessalian style with richly detailed curling locks arranged in layered waves across the crown and temples. The physiognomy is idealized and youthful, with a smooth neck truncation below. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, with no legend in the field, the entire design area devoted to the portrait.

Descrizione del rovescio	A bridled horse in vigorous trot to the right, rendered with naturalistic musculature and a distinctively curled, raised tail. The animal's forelegs are extended in motion, conveying energy and movement characteristic of Thessalian equestrian coinage. The ethnic legend of the Phalannaioi is disposed around the field in four segments, partially above and partially below the horse.
