| 背面描述 | A large facing gorgoneion fills the entire reverse field, depicted with wide staring eyes, a broad flat nose, and an open mouth with protruding tongue and vestigial tusks. Serpents are entwined in the hair above the forehead, their tails curling outward at the temples. The face is rendered in high relief with expressive, apotropaic features typical of the archaic and classical gorgon type as employed on Parian civic coinage. No legend or inscription is present. |
