Obverse description A two-handled amphora depicted in relief, rendered in archaic style, occupying the full field of the flan. The vessel is shown frontally with a broad, flat rim, pronounced shoulder handles curving outward, and a tapering body culminating in a pointed foot. No legend or inscription is present; the type served as the principal civic emblem of Korkyra on its early coinage.
