| Descrizione del dritto | Facing right, a boldly rendered lion's head in high relief with jaws agape, displaying prominent teeth and a deeply modelled mane rendered in stylized granular texture characteristic of early Lydian electrum coinage. The powerful, naturalistic treatment of the leonine features reflects the archaic artistic style prevalent in western Anatolia during the late 7th and early 6th centuries BC. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with early hammered electrum production. No inscription or legend appears in the field. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | A large, deeply struck double incuse square punch dominating the reverse, divided into two roughly equal rectangular compartments by a central ridge, the surfaces within showing irregular striations and tool marks from the punch application. This simple but characteristic incuse design is typical of early Lydian and Ionian electrum fractional coinage, serving a functional rather than decorative purpose. The flan edges show the characteristic cracking associated with hammered electrum pieces of this period. No legend or subsidiary device is present. |
