| Beschrijving voorzijde | Female head facing left, rendered in fine archaic style, her hair elaborately confined within a reticulated sakkos or hair-net, with loose curls escaping at the forehead and nape. The facial features are delicately modelled, exhibiting the characteristic softness of late Archaic Ionian die-engraving. A small seal (phoke), the civic badge of Phokaia, is positioned to the lower right of the effigy, oriented downward. The flan is convex and irregular, typical of struck Phocaean electrum hektes. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Quadripartite incuse square with four recessed compartments of unequal depth, divided by raised ridges meeting at the centre, produced by a four-pronged punch. The surface of each quadrant displays the characteristic rough, granular texture resulting from the hammered incuse technique. No legend or subsidiary devices are present. The incuse square is centrally placed and well-defined within the round flan. |
