Obverse description A sow depicted in profile advancing to the left in high relief, rendered with fine archaic detail including incised striations along the dorsal ridge suggesting bristled hair. Beneath the animal, a tunny fish (tuna) is shown in profile facing left, serving as the civic badge of Kyzikos and a consistent type-marker on the city's electrum coinage. The composition is contained within a slightly irregular oval flan characteristic of early archaic hammered coinage. No legend or inscription is present, consistent with pre-epigraphic Greek numismatic practice.

Reverse description A quadripartite incuse square dominating the reverse field, divided into four recessed rectangular compartments of roughly equal size by two perpendicular raised ridges meeting at the centre. The incuse is deeply impressed and asymmetric, with two diagonally opposite compartments more deeply recessed than the others, creating a windmill or mill-sail pattern typical of early archaic Greek coinage technique. The surface within each compartment shows irregular granular texture from the punch strike. No legend or inscription is present.
