| Opis rewersu | Quadripartite incuse square formed by two intersecting grooves dividing the reverse into four recessed compartments of roughly equal size, a hallmark of early archaic Greek coinage technique. The incuse is deeply impressed and irregular in execution, consistent with hand-hammered production of the late sixth century BC. The four sections display slightly varied surface textures resulting from the punching process. No legend, symbol, or secondary device is present. The broad, shallow flan edge is visible around the incuse. |
