| 正面描述 | Lion's head in left profile, rendered in bold archaic relief with open jaws and detailed facial musculature. To the right of the lion's head, a tunny fish is depicted in upward-swimming orientation, serving as the characteristic civic badge of Kyzikos. The design occupies the full flan in the characteristic Kyzikene style, with no border or legend. The modeling of the lion's mane and eye socket reflects the accomplished die-cutting tradition of the Kyzikene mint. The field is otherwise plain. |

| 背面描述 | Quadripartite incuse square formed by two intersecting grooves dividing the reverse into four recessed compartments of roughly equal size, a hallmark of early archaic Greek coinage technique. The incuse is deeply impressed and irregular in execution, consistent with hand-hammered production of the late sixth century BC. The four sections display slightly varied surface textures resulting from the punching process. No legend, symbol, or secondary device is present. The broad, shallow flan edge is visible around the incuse. |
