| 表面の説明 | Half-length frontal figure of Saint Philip, nimbate, occupying the upper field; the saint holds a long cross in his right hand, the shaft of which extends downward through the inner circle and into the legend, and carries a book in his left hand. In the lower field, a crowned shield bearing the arms of Austria-Burgundy breaks through the inner circle into the legend. The composition is characteristically Gothic in style, with the figure rendered in a formal, hieratic manner against a plain field. |
