| Descripción del anverso | Central field dominated by a large heraldic shield of the Bishopric of Utrecht, quartered and featuring an eagle in each of the lateral sub-shields, with a smaller inescutcheon at the base also bearing an eagle, all rendered in the bold, high-relief style characteristic of late medieval hammered gold coinage. The shield is flanked by decorative gothic foliage elements extending toward the coin's irregular rim. A circular Latin legend surrounds the entire composition, reading FRIDIC TRAIE CT EPS, identifying Frederick, Bishop of Utrecht. The die work is typical of early fifteenth-century Rhenish gulden production, with somewhat uneven flan striking. |

| Descripción del reverso | A haloed ecclesiastical figure, identified as a saint patron, is depicted full-length in a frontal, enthroned posture in the gothic style, wearing liturgical robes with finely incised drapery folds. The figure raises his right hand in a gesture of benediction and holds a tall staff or cross in the left hand, flanked on either side by elaborate gothic architectural canopies with pinnacles rising toward the upper field. A small heraldic shield appears at the base of the figure. The surrounding circular Latin legend reads MONETA RYNESIS, identifying this as the coinage of Rhenen, with decorative stops separating the lettering. |
