Obverse description Central crowned royal cypher of Stanisław August Poniatowski, formed by the interlaced letters SAR (Stanislaus Augustus Rex), within the field. The date is divided, with one portion appearing to the left and the other to the right of the central device. The design is executed in relief against a plain field, with the crown rendered in fine detail above the monogram.
