Obverse description Central field occupied by a quartered coat of arms surmounted by a ducal crown, the shield displaying the heraldic charges of the Della Rovere and Montefeltro dynasties, including a rampant eagle in the upper-left quarter and a fortified tower in the lower-right quarter. A small civic shield of Pesaro appears at the top of the crowned escutcheon. The arms are flanked by decorative mantling rendered in the Italian Renaissance hammered style. A circular legend in Latin runs along the coin's periphery, separated from the central device by a beaded inner border.
