| 表面の説明 | Central field occupied by a long cross with trefoil terminals dividing the flan into four quarters, each containing three pellets arranged in a triangular pattern. The cross is rendered in bold relief typical of hammered medieval groschen coinage. An outer circle separates the central cross design from the surrounding legend. The circumferential inscription in uncial Latin letters reads around the full perimeter of the coin, invoking a religious benediction and identifying Henry, Count of Lancaster, as the issuing authority. The flan is irregular and slightly cracked, consistent with hand-struck silver coinage of the mid-fourteenth century. |
