| Mô tả mặt trước | The crowned lion of Luxembourg rampant to the left occupies the central field, rendered on a bureled (horizontally lined) ground. The design is framed by a beaded inner circle, beyond which the circular Latin legend is inscribed, itself bounded by an outer beaded girdle. The lion is depicted in the characteristic heraldic style of the period, with stylized mane and raised forepaw, consistent with hammered coinage of the early fifteenth century. |

The entire central design is enclosed within two concentric beaded circles, between which the circular Latin legend is inscribed. |
