Each quarter contains pellets or small annulets as decorative fillers, consistent with late medieval Low Countries billon coinage. The encircling legend in uncial Latin script contains a devotional invocation referencing the new coinage of Reckheim and a blessing in the name of the Lord, separated by stops.
