Four hidden faces are concealed within the angles of the composition, a characteristic feature of Late Iron Age Celtic artistry. Pellet-in-ring motifs are positioned near the curves of the wreaths, while outline crescents ornament the periphery of the flan. The design is executed in the fluid curvilinear style typical of Catuvellaunian gold coinage. |

The overall composition reflects the Gallo-Belgic artistic tradition as adapted by Catuvellaunian die-cutters under the authority of Tasciovanos. |
