| Beschrijving voorzijde | Highly stylised and abstracted head of Apollo facing right, rendered in the Late Iron Age Celtic tradition. The broad, neat face is framed by a wreath in which the inner tip of each leaf points downward. A three-line angled cloak is depicted with a ringed-pellet fastener at the closure. A spike or hairbar terminates in a characteristic ear-form motif, below which two separated crescents occupy the lower field, contributing to the characteristic abstract composition of this Westerham type. |
