| Beschrijving voorzijde | Uninscribed abstract design characteristic of Iceni Celtic coinage, featuring a stylised floral motif — the so-called 'Freckenham Flower' — composed of a central pellet or boss enclosed within a multi-lobed petal arrangement rendered in relief. The flower is surrounded by a series of concentric raised rings or cable-pattern lines that fill the flan, creating a bold, decorative composition. Two small pellets appear to the left of the central motif in the field. The design is executed in the schematised, curvilinear artistic tradition of Late Iron Age Celtic craftsmanship, with no legends or inscriptions. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Stylised Celtic horse passant to the right, rendered in the abstract linear manner characteristic of Iceni coinage, with a prominent curved body and attenuated limbs. Above the horse, a six-spoked wheel or solar disc motif occupies the upper field, accompanied by a cluster of pellets to the lower left of the animal. Beneath the horse, a rectangular tablet or panel divided by vertical lines contains a second wheel or ringed cross motif at centre, with a horizontal pellet border forming a decorative base register. The overall composition reflects the deeply schematised, non-naturalistic artistic vocabulary of Late Iron Age Celtic die-engravers, with no inscriptions or legends present. |
