(Translation: (Son of) Commios.)
Reverse description Warrior or rider figure on horseback proceeding to the right, holding a sword and spear or small round shield in the Celtic martial tradition. The horse is rendered in the characteristically stylised British Celtic manner, with the body reduced to bold geometric forms. The inscription COM appears behind the rider in the field, serving as the dynastic reference to Commios. A pellet border surrounds the design, though it is irregularly preserved on this crude contemporary counterfeit struck on a debased bronze flan with a gold-plated surface.
