Obverse description Cruciform design composed of four arms, each containing a leaf or wreath element, radiating symmetrically from a central point. The arrangement reflects the characteristic Celtic abstract interpretation of classical floral and vegetal motifs. The field between the arms is filled with pellets and linear ornamental devices typical of the Hayling Island series. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with the hammered technique employed in contemporary counterfeit production. No legend or inscription is present.
