| 背面描述 | Central device consists of an ornate floriated cross with fleurs-de-lis terminating each arm, set within a polylobe inner circle. The four quarters formed by the cross are each occupied by a crown or fleur-de-lis motif, arranged alternately in the quadrants. A Latin legend encircles the design along the outer border, invoking the sovereignty of Christ in the traditional Carolingian formula. The hammered flan shows characteristic irregular edges and slightly uneven relief typical of early sixteenth-century French mint production. The composition is bold and well-centred, consistent with the established Ecu au soleil reverse type. |
