Reverse description A bold floriated cross pattée with fleurs-de-lis terminating each arm occupies the central field, characteristic of the écu au soleil type. The cross arms are decorated with twisted or beaded edging, and fleur-de-lis finials emerge from each extremity. Lis or crown symbols appear in the angles formed by the cross arms. The surrounding legend in Gothic uncial script runs within a beaded border along the coin's outer margin, with the mint letter P visible in the lower portion of the field indicating the Perpignan mint.
