Two additional heraldic shields flank the throne at either side. The design is rendered in the ornate Gothic style characteristic of late medieval Low Countries coinage. A beaded inner border frames the design, with a Latin legend running around the outer periphery in uncial characters. |

Small rosettes and fleurs-de-lis are distributed throughout the fields between the arms and within the lobes, creating a richly decorated surface. The overall design is enclosed within a beaded inner border, with a Latin legend in uncial script running along the outer periphery. The workmanship reflects the fine Gothic goldsmith tradition of early fifteenth-century Holland. |
