| Reverse description | Central field occupied by an elaborate Gothic quatrefoil frame enclosing a floriated cross pattée, with fleurs-de-lis terminating each arm of the cross. The quatrefoil is set within a raised inner circle, and the four spandrels between the cross arms are filled with decorative floral or trefoil motifs. The surrounding Latin legend, separated by annulets, carries the traditional acclamation XPC VINCIT XPC REGNAT XPC IMPERAT, affirming the sovereignty of Christ as conqueror, ruler, and commander. |
