The mane is depicted as a row of beaded pellets or curled pellets, and a ring-and-pole motif (ringpole) is positioned at the breast of the horse. The tail is triple-stranded, each strand terminating in a pellet. A floral sunburst rosette occupies the field above the horse, occasionally rendered irregularly, while a second sunburst rosette appears below, sometimes accompanied by a pellet between the rosette and the underside of the horse. |
