Reverse description Central field bearing three lines of Arabic Kufic legend arranged horizontally across the flan: the upper line reads 'Muḥammad rasūl Allāh' (Muhammad is the Messenger of God), the middle line names the Abbasid caliph 'al-Qādir bi-Allāh', and the lower line names the local Taifa ruler 'Muḥammad ibn ʿAbbād'. The inscription confirms the dual acknowledgment of Abbasid suzerainty and Abbadid local authority, a standard convention on Taifa coinage of al-Andalus. The flan is irregular and slightly oval, consistent with the small hammered fractional silver issues of this period. Relief is low and the legends show characteristic wear.
