Obverse description Central field bears a multi-line Kufic Arabic religious inscription arranged horizontally across the die, enclosed within a concentric border composed of an inner solid line, a beaded ring, and an outer solid line. A small six-pointed star or pellet ornament appears in the lower portion of the central field, separating the inscription lines. The flan is irregular and slightly clipped at the edges, consistent with hammered gold coinage of the Taifa period.
