Reverse description Central field displays a multi-line Kufic Arabic inscription arranged in horizontal registers, enclosed within a concentric border of solid-beaded-solid circles, partially visible given the irregular flan. The legends, typical of Taifa dinars, reference the ruler's titles and religious formulae. The hammered strike has produced an uneven surface with some areas of weakness, and the flan edges are jagged and clipped, characteristic of fractional gold coinage struck in Al-Andalus during the eleventh century.
