Obverse description Frontal bust of a crowned ruler depicted in Byzantine style, wearing a jewelled crown adorned with pendilia and a bejewelled loros or imperial garment ornamented with pellets. The effigy is rendered in a highly stylized manner characteristic of Crusader imitative coinage, with large almond-shaped eyes and schematic facial features. Partial Greek legend visible in the field to the left and upper portions of the coin. The figure holds or is flanked by indistinct regalia, consistent with typological borrowing from contemporary Byzantine folles.
Obverse script Greek

Reverse description A prominent cross potent or cross with crosslet tips occupies the centre of the field, dividing the coin into four quadrants. Each quadrant is filled with lines of Greek inscription arranged horizontally, referencing the count's name and title in a highly abbreviated and often garbled form typical of Crusader provincial coinage. The lettering is boldly struck but shows significant die-cutter inconsistency, reflecting local workshop production. The overall composition closely follows Byzantine prototype folles in its use of a central cross with surrounding epigraphic content.
