The effigy is rendered in low relief, with the paludamentum visible over the cuirass. The encircling Latin legend reads D N HONORI-VS P F AVG, identifying the emperor with his full titulature. The flan is slightly irregular and shows typical late antique die wear consistent with a mint-struck hammered issue. |

| Opis rewersu | Standing figure of Honorius facing left, head turned to the right, holding a spear in his right hand and resting his left hand upon a grounded shield. A winged Victory stands behind the emperor, crowning him with a wreath and holding a palm branch in her left hand, the composition conveying martial virtue and divine favour. The divided legend VIRTVS - EXERCITI flanks the central group, invoking the valour of the army. A mint mark appears in the exergue identifying the Alexandria mint, with officina letters (ALEA or ALEB). The overall style is characteristic of the late fourth-century Eastern Roman bronze coinage. |
