| Opis rewersu | Standing figure of Saint Ladislaus (László), the patron saint of Hungary, depicted full-length facing, crowned and armored, holding a long battle-axe (halberd) in his right hand and an orb in his left. The date 1594 appears in two parts in the field to either side of the figure. A beaded inner circle encloses the design, with the Latin legend running in the outer margin with rosette stops, reading + S · LADL · REX · or similar, identifying the saint as King Ladislaus. |
