The figures are rendered in high relief in the late medieval Hungarian florin tradition. A beaded inner circle frames the central design, with the legend running in the outer field interrupted by small rosette stops. The legend reads BATHORI · SIGISMVND · or similar, identifying the issuing prince. |

The date 1594 appears in two parts in the field to either side of the figure. A beaded inner circle encloses the design, with the Latin legend running in the outer margin with rosette stops, reading + S · LADL · REX · or similar, identifying the saint as King Ladislaus. |
