Each lobe contains abbreviated elements of the ducal title beneath small crowns. The surrounding peripheral legend, punctuated by rosettes and stops, records the full ducal title of Filippo Maria Visconti. The design reflects the heraldic grandeur typical of Lombard late-Gothic coinage. |
