背面描述	A boldly rendered resplendent quetzal (Pharomachrus mocinno), Guatemala's national bird and heraldic symbol, is depicted in full flight with wings outstretched and long ornamental tail feathers sweeping dramatically downward in a graceful curve across the lower field. To the left, a stepped Mayan pyramid — reminiscent of the temples at Tikal — rises above a treeline rendered in fine relief. The legend EL QUETZAL and the date 1995 appear to the right of the bird in the field, separated by a horizontal line. The entire design is struck against a deeply mirrored proof surface.
