Beschrijving voorzijde Central field features a stylized figure of Garuda, the divine eagle, depicted in full stride facing right with wings dramatically outstretched. The deity is rendered in a bold, archaic relief characteristic of South Indian medieval hammered coinage, with exaggerated limbs conveying dynamic movement. The irregular flan edge is typical of the hand-struck production technique employed by the Madurai Nayak mint.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse presents a highly stylized, abstract depiction of Goddess Kali rendered in the conventional iconographic shorthand of Madurai Nayak fanams. The design features a schematic face-like composition with a prominent U-shaped central element flanked by symmetrically arranged pellets, representing the goddess's attributes in a simplified but recognizable devotional form. The flat, grainy field and irregular planchet are consistent with the hammered gold technique of the period.
