Obverse description Central field occupied by a densely struck Arabic legend arranged in multiple lines within a roughly circular composition. The inscription, rendered in the Naskh style typical of Bijapur Sultanate coinage, fills the flan and is partially obscured by characteristic die wear and verdigris patination. The flat, hammered fabric results in an irregular, slightly lobate flan edge. No border ornament is clearly discernible on this side.
